Crispy Fried Chicken Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • white pepper
  • water
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 burger buns
  • lettuce
  • cabbage
  • mayonnaise and ketchup

Zinger sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp hot sauce or vinegar (few drops)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken into thin cutlets or strips and season with salt, pepper, hot sauce, paprika, and all spices

  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and all spices to make the coating mixture

  3. Dip the chicken in water, then coat it again in the flour mixture and mix well

  4. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat

  5. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side

  6. Make the zinger sauce by combining mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce or vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste

  7. Assemble the burger by placing the fried chicken on buns with lettuce, cabbage, mayonnaise, ketchup, and zinger sauce
