Homemade Vegan Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 70g vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond butter (or any other nut butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 30g chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas

  2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and well mixed

  3. Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking dish or form into bars

  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set, then cut into bars
