Crispy Lumpia with Jicama Filling
Ingredients
- 200 grams grated jicama
- 1 tablespoon dried shrimp, soaked
- 3 cloves garlic
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 chopped green onion stalk
- Store-bought lumpia wrappers
- 1 beaten egg
- Cooking oil
Preparation
Grind the dried shrimp and garlic together
Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan and sauté the ground mixture
Add the grated jicama and chopped green onion, season with salt, sugar, and pepper until well mixed, then remove from heat and set aside
Prepare the lumpia wrappers by adding the filling, rolling them up, and sealing with the beaten egg
Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan
Fry the lumpia until golden brown and serve
