Fried Chicken with Mango Salsa
Ingredients
- Chicken thigh or breast
- Black pepper
- Garlic
- Egg
- Nona Kentucky frying flour
- Oil for frying
Sauce
- Plum sauce
- Tomato sauce
- Thai sauce
- Sugar
- Chopped bird's eye chili
- Lime juice
- Water (optional)
Garnish
- Young mango (for grating)
- Carrot
- Coriander leaves
- Onion
Preparation
Heat the oil for frying.
Marinate the chicken with black pepper and garlic for 20 minutes.
Break an egg into the chicken mixture and stir well.
Coat the chicken in Nona Kentucky frying flour.
Deep fry the chicken until golden brown.
Grate the young mango, carrot, coriander leaves, and onion.
Mix the plum sauce, tomato sauce, Thai sauce, sugar, and lime juice, then boil, adding chopped bird's eye chili at the end.
Cut the fried chicken into pieces.
Mix the chicken with the grated mango mixture.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
Tips
Amounts are approximate and can be adjusted to taste.
If the sauce is too thick, add water to thin it out.
