Homemade Churros with Cinnamon Sugar

Ingredients

  • 300g flour
  • 70g sugar
  • 125g butter
  • 500ml water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying

Toppings

  • Powdered sugar as needed
  • Ground cinnamon as needed
  • Chocolate topping or sweetened condensed milk for dipping

Preparation

  1. Boil water, add butter, sugar, and vanilla essence, stir until smooth, then turn off heat.

  2. Add flour and stir until well combined.

  3. Add eggs and stir until fully incorporated, then gradually transfer the dough to a piping bag.

  4. Heat frying oil over medium heat.

  5. Pipe the churros dough directly into the oil using a piping bag and tip, adjusting length to preference.

  6. Fry until golden brown, then remove and drain.

  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon, and serve with chocolate sauce or sweetened condensed milk for dipping.
