Healthy Spelt Pancakes with Chocolate Hummus

Ingredients

  • 70g spelt flour
  • 1 scoop vanilla soy isolate
  • 100g apple sauce
  • 1 tbsp @houloveshou chocolate hummus
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • some baking powder
  • squeeze of a lemon
  • 150ml almond milk

Toppings

  • @houloveshou chocolate hummus
  • dark chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together to form a smooth batter

  2. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil or butter

  3. Pour portions of batter onto the pan to form pancakes and cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown

  4. Remove from heat and top with additional chocolate hummus and dark chocolate chips before serving
