No-Bake Fruit and Nut Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup chopped candied fruits
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried pineapple
  • 1 cup ground nuts
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 1/2 cups ground biscuits

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, place the butter and beat until fluffy like cream, then add honey and mix until combined.

  2. Add the candied fruits, dates, raisins, dried pineapple, nuts, orange zest, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves, and mix until well combined.

  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours to allow flavors to meld.

  4. Add the ground biscuits and mix with your fingertips until well combined, then shape into small balls.

  5. Garnish each ball with a piece of nut or dried fruit and store in a cool place.
