Brazilian Sponge Cake with Eggs and Sugar
Ingredients
- 8 whole eggs
- 10 tablespoons sugar (225 g)
- 10 tablespoons flour (225 g)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180Β°C
Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy, using low mixer speed
Gradually add the sifted flour, being careful not to overmix
Pour the batter into a 30 cm diameter baking pan greased with margarine
Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and dry
