Cardamom Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 3 cardamom pods (or 1/4 tsp ground cardamom), seeds removed and ground up
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed

Preparation

  1. If using cardamom pods, remove and find seeds using a mortar and pestle

  2. Add ground seeds to remaining dry ingredients inside a Tupperware container

  3. Add in milk, stir together well and set in fridge over night

  4. Stir in mashed banana prior to serving and adjust seasonings as desired
