Cardamom Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 3 cardamom pods (or 1/4 tsp ground cardamom), seeds removed and ground up
- 1 tbsp chia seeds or ground flax seed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
Preparation
If using cardamom pods, remove and find seeds using a mortar and pestle
Add ground seeds to remaining dry ingredients inside a Tupperware container
Add in milk, stir together well and set in fridge over night
Stir in mashed banana prior to serving and adjust seasonings as desired
