Paneer Tikka Open Sandwich
Ingredients
- Besan sev
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves with stems
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- Mint leaves
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Water
- Paneer, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 tablespoon curd
- Tikka masala
- Kasuri methi
- Crushed black pepper
- Chopped capsicum
- Chopped onion
- Bread slices
- Grated cheese
- Red chilli powder
Preparation
Take a mixer jar to make chutney and add some besan sev
Add salt as per taste and grind it
Add some coriander along with stems
Add 2 chopped green chillies
Add some mint leaves
Add juice of 1/2 lime
Add some water and grind to make green chutney
Transfer the chutney to a bowl
Take a mixing bowl to marinate paneer and add paneer cut into small cubes
Mix 1/2 tablespoon curd with some tikka masala and add it to the bowl
Add salt as per taste
Add some kasuri methi
Add some crushed black pepper
Mix everything well to coat the paneer
Take bread slices and apply butter on both sides
Apply green chutney on the bread
Place 4 marinated paneer cubes on each bread slice
Place a piece of chopped onion on one side of the paneer and chopped capsicum on the other
Add some grated cheese on each paneer cube
Heat a pan on medium heat to grill the sandwiches
Place the sandwich on the pan and cover with a lid
Cook on slow to medium heat until the cheese melts and the sandwich turns golden-brown from the base
Sprinkle some red chilli powder on it
Cut the sandwich into squares
Transfer the pieces to a serving plate
Top with some green chutney and a coriander leaf
Serve and enjoy warm
Grilling tips
For grilling in a griller or oven, place the sandwiches in the preheated oven on the center shelf and grill at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes
