Simple Thai-Style Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 5-6 cloves garlic
  • 4-7 red and green chilies
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • A small amount of red onion
  • Red or green bird's eye chilies
  • Coriander leaves
  • Lemon

Preparation

  1. Pound the garlic, chilies, and brown sugar together.

  2. Mix the fish sauce and oyster sauce.

  3. Slice the red onion, bird's eye chilies, and coriander leaves.

  4. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.

  5. Combine all the prepared ingredients to form the sauce.

  6. Serve the sauce as a dip with grilled meat.
