Vegetarian Lasagne with Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 lasagne sheets
  • Morrisons meat-free mince
  • Tube of tomato puree
  • Knorr vegetable stock pot
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Onion salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • White pepper (to taste)
  • Sweetener (to taste)
  • Knorr smoked paprika (to taste)
  • Chilli flakes (to taste)
  • Lachinat smoked paprika (to taste)
  • 250 ml water
  • 6 Laughing Cow extra light cheese triangles
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • Sainsburys grated mozzarella (for topping)

Cheese sauce components

  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Onion salt (to taste)

Preparation

  1. Par-boil the lasagne sheets to soften them slightly

  2. Cook the meat-free mince in water until it swells and is fully cooked

  3. Prepare the cheese sauce by melting the cheese triangles in water, then add the cornflour mixture and seasonings

  4. Layer the ingredients in a small loaf tin, trimming lasagne sheets to fit and finishing with most of the cheese sauce

  5. Bake the lasagne at 200°C for 10 minutes

  6. Add grated mozzarella on top and bake for an additional 8 minutes until golden and bubbly

Notes

  1. No need to cover the lasagne during baking as the sauce will form a protective skin

  2. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal
