Restaurant Style Chicken Stew

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Flour for coating
  • Oil

Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Black pepper
  • Juice of half a lemon

Preparation

  1. Salt the chicken and coat it with flour, then heat oil in a pot and add the chicken to fry evenly on all sides.

  2. Add chopped onions, then pour in cold water and bring to a boil, letting it cook.

  3. After 10-15 minutes, add potatoes and carrots and continue cooking until tender.

  4. For the sauce, sauté butter and flour together, then add red pepper flakes, black pepper, garlic, and cold water, bringing it to a boil.

  5. Stir in lemon juice, then add the sauce to the chicken mixture and simmer together for a few minutes.

  6. Turn off the heat; the dish is ready to serve.
