Pistachio Toffee Dessert
Ingredients
Biscuit layer
- 1 cup ground biscuits
- 1 cup ground pistachio
- 1 tablespoon fine sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardamom
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon coconut
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Filling
- 1 large can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 cubes cream cheese
- 1/2 cup kaymak
Toffee
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup liquid cream
Garnish
- ground pistachio
Preparation
Set the rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 180°C.
Prepare mini cupcake molds with paper liners.
In a deep bowl, mix the biscuit layer ingredients to form a coarse dough.
Shape the dough into balls and place them in the cups.
In a deep bowl, mix the filling ingredients until smooth.
Distribute the filling over the biscuit layer in the cups to fill completely.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely in the molds.
Spread the toffee sauce over the dessert, garnish with ground pistachio, and serve.
Toffee sauce
In a medium pot, place the sugar and heat on medium until it caramelizes.
Carefully add the cream and stir with a wooden spoon until a smooth toffee sauce forms.
Let the sauce cool completely before using.
