Quinoa Apple Oats Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 200 ml almond milk
  • 30 grams quinoa
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 3/4 apple
  • 40 grams oats
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • a dash of cinnamon

Toppings

  • cinnamon
  • shredded coconut
  • mulberries
  • some nuts
  • cacao nibs
  • peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Put 200 ml of almond milk in a saucepan and add 30 grams of quinoa.

  2. Add 1 teaspoon of chia seeds and let it cook for 10 minutes.

  3. Add 3/4 apple, 40 grams of oats, 1 tablespoon of raisins, and a dash of cinnamon.

  4. Let it cook for 7 more minutes.

  5. Add the toppings: cinnamon, shredded coconut, mulberries, some nuts, cacao nibs, and peanut butter.

Notes

  1. Quinoa is a gluten-free wholegrain carbohydrate and contains all nine essential amino acids.
