Baked Chocolate Chip Protein Bars
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 flax meal
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 small ripe banana
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 serving protein powder
- 1/2 cup cassava flour
- 1/4 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 1 tbsp nut butter
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Sea salt to sprinkle
Preparation
In a bowl, mix flax and water and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
Add mashed banana, maple syrup, and nut butter; mix until creamy.
Add flour, oats, chocolate chips, and baking powder; mix until dough forms.
Pour into a bread pan or spread about 1.5 inches thick on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with sea salt.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 17-20 minutes.
