Chocolate Almond Quinoa Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup quinoa flakes
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 tbsp. almond milk (or water)
  • 2 tsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

Optional additions

  • 1 scoop collagen
  • 1 tsp. ground chia
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ceylon cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Whisk together the wet ingredients with a fork.

  2. Whisk in the dry ingredients.

  3. Cook in a mini waffle maker.
