Vegan Cheese for Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp tapioca starch
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 2 cups potatoes

Preparation

  1. Cook 2 cups of potatoes until tender, then dice and drain them.

  2. Mix 1 Tbsp tapioca starch, 1/3 cup nutritional yeast and 1 Tsp salt in 1 cup full fat coconut milk until the starch is completely dissolved.

  3. Blend this mixture with the cooked potatoes while they are still hot.

  4. The mixture should be thick, creamy and gooey.

  5. Top your pizza with the cheese and bake at 180°C/350°F until golden brown.

Tips

  1. Pizza toppings can include tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and fresh herbs.
