Turmeric Oats Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk or water
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • pinch of black pepper
  • dash of cinnamon
  • one scoop vanilla protein powder

Preparation

  1. In a small pot, add 1/2 cup dry oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 cup almond milk or water, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, pinch of black pepper, and a dash of cinnamon.

  2. Cook on stovetop over medium heat until you reach the desired consistency.

  3. Turn off heat and remove pot from stove, then stir in one scoop vanilla protein powder.

  4. Top with any fruits or nuts you have at home and enjoy. For example, use frozen cherries and blueberries, coconut shreds, sunflower seeds, and peanut butter as suggested.
