Blackened Shrimp Tacos with Mango and Avocado
Ingredients
- 1 lb extra large shrimp
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Toppings
- Tortillas
- Mango
- Avocado
- Tomato
Preparation
Mix the spices together in a small bowl
Wash and peel the shrimp if needed and pat dry
Coat the shrimp with 1 teaspoon olive oil and the spices
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little more olive oil, then add the shrimp and cook for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for 4 to 5 more minutes
Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked shrimp in tortillas and topping with mango, avocado, and tomato
