Salmon Tacos with Avocado Lime Crema

Ingredients

  • 1/2 very ripe mashed avocado
  • zest and juice from one lime
  • 1/4 cup almond milk plain yogurt
  • drizzle of honey
  • sriracha or hot sauce of choice
  • wild caught or sustainably farmed salmon
  • Chili Lime seasoning
  • cayenne pepper
  • cumin
  • garlic powder
  • coconut oil
  • Cassava Coconut Tortillas
  • chopped cilantro
  • cucumber
  • red cabbage

Preparation

  1. Combine 1/2 very ripe mashed avocado, zest and juice from one lime, 1/4 cup almond milk plain yogurt, a drizzle of honey, and sriracha or hot sauce of choice. Set aside.

  2. Season salmon with Chili Lime seasoning, cayenne pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Cook in coconut oil in a cast iron skillet for 3-4 minutes per side.

  3. Heat Cassava Coconut Tortillas in a skillet over medium heat for 15-20 seconds per side.

  4. Fill tortillas with chopped cilantro, cucumber, red cabbage, flaked salmon, Avocado Lime Crema, a drizzle of sriracha, and fresh lime zest.
