Quick Nutella Puff Pastry Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry (about 270g)
  • 150 g Nutella
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C top and bottom heat (convection: 180°C)

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  3. Roll out the puff pastry

  4. Optionally warm the Nutella slightly in the microwave to make it easier to spread

  5. Cut the dough into four rectangles

  6. Spread the Nutella tablespoon by tablespoon on the dough rectangles using a cake spatula, leaving about 1 cm border

  7. Cut each rectangle horizontally into 5 equal strips

  8. Twist each strip from both sides and place on the prepared baking sheet with space between

  9. Whisk the egg with milk and brush the sticks thinly with it

  10. Bake in the oven for about 12-14 minutes

  11. Optionally serve with a small bowl of Nutella for dipping
