Spicy Indonesian Tofu with Tamarind Sauce
Ingredients
- tofu
- 10 green bird's eye chilies
- palm sugar, to taste
- 2 shallots
- 1 clove garlic
- boiled water, as needed
- tamarind water
- salt, to taste
Preparation
Cut the tofu into pieces.
Crush the chilies and onions, then add palm sugar, tamarind water, boiled water, and salt. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Arrange the tofu in a container and pour the sauce over it. It is ready to serve.
