Vegan Peanut Butter Oat Bars
Ingredients
- -1/2 cup, Agave syrup
- -2 cups, peanut butter
- -3 cups, oats
- -1 cup, chocolate chips
Preparation
Place the oats into the bowl of your food processor and grind them for a few seconds (shouldn't be too finely grinded)
Add all ingredients, except the chocolate chips in a large bowl. Stir with a large spoon until blended.
Transfer the mixture to an ungreased 8 x 8 dish lined with parchment paper. Spread well and press evenly with a spatula. Place in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to set.
Microwave chocolate chips with a little water for approximately 2 minutes on high, or until melted. Stir well to combine.
Spread chocolate mixture evenly over the peanut butter & oats mixture. Refrigerate for at least one hour before slicing. Store covered in refrigerator.
