Cinnamon Oatmeal with Banana and Spices
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of ginger
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
Preparation
Mix dry ingredients together in a sauce pan, then add in wet ingredients.
Set sauce pan over medium heat and cook until mixture thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes after it begins simmering.
Remove from heat and allow to thicken to your desired consistency as it sets.
Serve as desired and adjust flavor as desired. Feel free to add sweetener to this or add the fruit on top to sweeten it.
