Brazilian Cut Milk Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons margarine

Preparation

  1. In a thick pot, mix the sugar, powdered milk, and water

  2. Bring to medium heat, then reduce heat once boiling and continue stirring for about 20 minutes until the mixture darkens

  3. Remove from heat, add margarine, and stir vigorously for 2 minutes until it begins to harden

  4. Pour onto a greased marble surface and let set for 8 to 10 minutes until firm, then cut into pieces and remove from the surface
