Brazilian Maid Cake with Powdered Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (210 grams)
  • 1 cup sugar (160 grams)
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180Β°C and in a bowl mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, and powdered milk.

  2. In a blender, blend the remaining ingredients: milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, margarine or butter, and vanilla extract.

  3. When the blender ingredients are well mixed, add the dry ingredients and blend for 1 more minute or until well combined.

  4. Grease and flour a bundt pan and pour the batter into it; the batter will be very liquid because this is a soft and creamy maid cake, like a pudding. Bake in the preheated oven at 180Β°C for 50-60 minutes.

  5. Let the cake cool completely before unmolding. Unmold and serve at room temperature or chilled; it is delicious either way!
