Chocolate Strawberry Magnolia Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 liter milk
  • sugar (slightly less than 1 cup)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 level tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 level tablespoons flour
  • 1 packet vanilla (add after cooking)
  • 200 ml heavy cream (add after cooling)

Layers

  • strawberries
  • 2 packages oat biscuits
  • chopped hazelnuts

Topping

  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 200 g mixed milk and dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. In a pot, combine milk, sugar (slightly less than 1 cup), egg yolk, flour, and cornstarch, then cook over medium heat until it boils and thickens.

  2. Turn off the heat and add 1 packet of vanilla.

  3. Cool the mixture, stirring occasionally, then refrigerate for at least 5-6 hours.

  4. After cooling, add 200 ml heavy cream and whip with a mixer for about 5 minutes.

  5. Assemble the dessert by layering with strawberries, oat biscuits, and chopped hazelnuts.

  6. Prepare the topping with 200 ml heavy cream and 200 g mixed milk and dark chocolate, then decorate as desired.
