Ice Cream Semolina Halva

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups semolina
  • 80 grams butter (or 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar (you can reduce if desired)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cups water

Fillings

  • Plain ice cream

Preparation

  1. First, add butter and vegetable oil to a large pan.

  2. Then, add 1.5 cups of semolina.

  3. Roast the semolina for 15-20 minutes until it changes color well.

  4. Add the sugar and roast for 1-2 more minutes.

  5. Add the milk and water and stir very quickly.

  6. Boil the halva for another 4-5 minutes while stirring.

  7. Cover the halva and let it rest for half an hour.

  8. Scoop the halva into a bowl, place ice cream inside, and cover it again with halva.

Tips

  1. If you put a plastic bag in the bowl, the halva will come out easier.

  2. This recipe serves 5 people.
