Ice Cream Semolina Halva
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups semolina
- 80 grams butter (or 2 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar (you can reduce if desired)
- 1 cup milk
- 0.5 cups water
Fillings
- Plain ice cream
Preparation
First, add butter and vegetable oil to a large pan.
Then, add 1.5 cups of semolina.
Roast the semolina for 15-20 minutes until it changes color well.
Add the sugar and roast for 1-2 more minutes.
Add the milk and water and stir very quickly.
Boil the halva for another 4-5 minutes while stirring.
Cover the halva and let it rest for half an hour.
Scoop the halva into a bowl, place ice cream inside, and cover it again with halva.
Tips
If you put a plastic bag in the bowl, the halva will come out easier.
