Moist Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1 cup condensed milk
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ovalette
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
Topping
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- a little milk or water
Preparation
Preheat the oven
Mix eggs, ovalette, vanilla essence, and sugar until fluffy
Add condensed milk and mix again
Add oil and mix until well combined
Sift flour with cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda
Mix the sifted dry ingredients with the wet mixture, adding hot water little by little until smooth and well combined
Pour into a greased baking pan
Bake at 160°C for 1 hour or until done, oven temperature may vary
Chocolate topping
Stir all topping ingredients over low heat until thick and shiny
Pour slowly over the cake and decorate as desired
