Red Quinoa and Sesame Rye-Breads
Ingredients
- 4 ryvita protein red quinoa and sesame
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 2 tbsps. maple syrup
- 4-6 tbsps. almond butter
- 40g 75%+ dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
Preparation
Halve each banana down the middle lengthways then chop each half into thirds
Heat the maple syrup in a large frying pan until it starts to bubble
Then carefully add the bananas and cook on each side for 3-4 minutes until the banana starts to caramelise
Add the chocolate to a small bowl with the coconut oil and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until melted
Generously spread each ryvita crispbread with almond butter, top each with three pieces of caramelised banana before drizzling with some dark chocolate
Finally sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds
