Easy French Cherry Clafoutis

Ingredients

  • Pastry flour: 125 grams
  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
  • Pitted cherries: 350 grams
  • Eggs: 4
  • Sugar: 100 grams
  • Heavy cream: 100 grams
  • Milk: 125 grams

Preparation

  1. Grease a 23-25 cm baking pan well.

  2. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.

  3. Pit the cherries and place them in the bottom of the pan.

  4. Mix all the ingredients together.

  5. Pour the mixture over the cherries.

  6. Bake in the oven for about 35 to 40 minutes until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

Serving suggestions

  1. After cooling, serve with a little powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
