Simple Creamy Brazilian Cornmeal Cake
Ingredients
- 3 cups milk (650 ml)
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups sugar (600 g)
- 1 cup cornmeal (160 g)
- 3 tablespoons wheat flour (33 g)
- 2 tablespoons butter (30 g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (50 g)
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
Place all ingredients except baking powder in a blender and blend until smooth
Gently mix in the baking powder
Pour the batter into a medium greased and floured pan
Bake in a preheated medium oven for about 40 minutes
Remove from oven when golden; let cool before unmolding
