Easy Spinach and Cheese Borek

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 200g cheese (preferably Ezine)
  • 300g spinach
  • 1 bowl fresh green onions

Topping

  • kashar cheese

Preparation

  1. Mix the necessary ingredients for the filling in a bowl.

  2. Add your favorite cheeses to the mixture and mix well.

  3. Then add spinach and fresh green onions, and continue mixing.

  4. Bake the prepared mixture in a preheated 200-degree oven without fan until it starts to brown.

  5. Remove from oven, spread kashar cheese on top, and return to oven until the top is browned.

Tips

  1. When it comes out of the oven, it may be moist inside, but it will firm up as it cools.

  2. The borek is delicious both hot and cold.
