Gluten-Free Cauliflower Pizza with Herbs
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower (ground to about 4 cups)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- oregano to taste
- basil to taste
- black pepper to taste
- garlic to taste
- tomato passata
- spices to taste
Preparation
Grind a cauliflower in a food processor to make about 4 cups.
Cook it in the microwave for 8 minutes.
Preheat oven to 240°C.
Strain excess water from the cooked cauliflower.
Add to the cauliflower: 2 large eggs, 1 cup grated cheese, oregano, basil, black pepper, and garlic to taste.
Roll out the cauliflower dough using palms and fingers on baking paper or a pre-greased pizza tray.
Bake in the oven until brown, about 10-20 minutes. Edges may brown quicker.
Make pizza sauce with tomato passata, adding garlic, basil, and spices.
Spread the sauce over the cauliflower pizza base.
Add your desired toppings.
Bake again in the oven for 5 minutes.
