Mango Shrikhand Indian Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hung curd
  • Approximately 3 tablespoons fresh mango pulp
  • 1.5 tablespoons powdered sugar or to taste
  • Some finely chopped mangoes
  • Some pistachios for garnishing

Preparation

  1. Hang thick yogurt in a muslin cloth overnight in the refrigerator to make hung curd.

  2. In a mixing bowl, add the hung curd.

  3. Add approximately 3 tablespoons of fresh mango pulp and mix well.

  4. Add 1.5 tablespoons of powdered sugar and mix.

  5. Add some finely chopped mangoes.

  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with chopped mangoes and pistachios.

  7. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours to thicken.

  8. Serve chilled.
