Easy Turkish Yayla Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup vermicelli
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2.5 cups water

Topping

  • 1 clove garlic
  • Butter
  • Mint

Preparation

  1. Mix the ingredients together and add the water.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  3. Once boiling, continue to boil for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. Pour the sauce over the soup and serve.

Sauce

  1. Melt butter in a pan.

  2. Add crushed garlic and mint and cook until fragrant.

Tips

  1. Adding garlic to the sauce enhances its aroma.
