Spicy Soy Sauce Beef

Ingredients

  • 900g beef
  • 2 stalks lemongrass
  • Oyster sauce
  • Chili sauce
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Black pepper
  • Palm sugar

Blended paste

  • 2 large red onions
  • Garlic (to taste)
  • 10 large chilies (can add more chili peppers for extra heat)

Preparation

  1. Blend the blended paste ingredients.

  2. Heat oil in a pan.

  3. Add the blended mixture to the hot oil.

  4. Add lemongrass and sauté until fragrant.

  5. Add a cup of water.

  6. Add oyster sauce, chili sauce, and black pepper.

  7. Slice the beef and add it to the pan.

  8. Bring to a boil.

  9. If the water dries up, add more water until the beef is somewhat submerged.

  10. When the water reduces, add dark soy sauce, palm sugar, and seasoning to taste.

  11. Cook until the sauce thickens or the beef is tender.

Notes

  1. Meanwhile, you can wash dishes or prepare other dishes.

  2. This method avoids pre-boiling the beef.
