Gluten-Free Orange-Infused Apple Pie
Ingredients
Filling
- 4 cups of chopped apples
- 1 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 Tbs of maple syrup
- 2 Tbs of date syrup
- 1 tsp of Himalayan salt
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Juice and zest from one organic marmalade Seville orange
- 1/2 cup of chopped soaked dates
Crust
- 1 cup of Teff flour
- 1 cup of Tiger nut flour
- 2 Tbs of Rapeseed oil
- 2 Tbs of Coconut oil
- 2 Tsp of Raspberry apple cider vinegar
- Some cashew milk
- Some liquid sweetener
Topping
- Coconut sugar
Preparation
Mix the filling ingredients and cook gently for a few minutes.
Prepare the crust with the given ingredients.
Cook the crust.
Layer the cooked crust with the filling, add some apples, and sprinkle with coconut sugar.
Bake the pie.
