Warm Paleo Oatmeal with Nut Butter Topping
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 1 tbsp vanilla collagen or any protein powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 mashed banana
Toppings
- 1/4 banana
- 1 spoonful nut butter
- 1 spoonful grain free granola
- chocolate chips
Preparation
Heat 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk over medium heat.
Add 2 egg whites, 2 tbsp flaxseed meal, 1 tbsp vanilla collagen or substitute protein, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp maple syrup, and 1/2 mashed banana.
Mix all together and let cook for 5 minutes.
For a variation without egg whites, add an extra tablespoon of flaxseed meal and an extra 1/2 mashed banana.
Top with 1/4 sliced banana, a spoonful of nut butter, a spoonful of grain free granola, and chocolate chips.
