Gluten Free Maple Glazed Donuts
Ingredients
- • 1 organic cage free egg (if vegan sub one flax egg: 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 3 tbsp water)
- • 1 cup gluten free flour (keep in mind if you use coconut or almond flour the measurements change)
- • 1 tsp baking powder
- • 1/4 tsp baking soda
- • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- • 1 tsp cinnamon
- • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- • dash vanilla extract
Preparation
Preheat oven 375F - grease donut pan
Pipe filling into donut pockets and bake for 10 minutes! While waiting for donuts to rise begin to make the maple glaze using 1/2 cup confectioners sugar + 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Remove donuts from oven, let cool, then dip in glaze
