Gluten Free Maple Glazed Donuts

Ingredients

  • • 1 organic cage free egg (if vegan sub one flax egg: 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 3 tbsp water)
  • • 1 cup gluten free flour (keep in mind if you use coconut or almond flour the measurements change)
  • • 1 tsp baking powder
  • • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • • dash vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven 375F - grease donut pan

  2. Pipe filling into donut pockets and bake for 10 minutes! While waiting for donuts to rise begin to make the maple glaze using 1/2 cup confectioners sugar + 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

  3. Remove donuts from oven, let cool, then dip in glaze
