Chai Spiced Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 3 dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 3/4 cup oat milk
- 1 tbsp tahin
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 chai teabag
Preparation
In a small pan, combine hot water, oat milk and the chai teabag
Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes
Get out the teabag (squeeze to get out all the flavors)
Now add your oats and chopped dates
Stir well and bring to a boil again
Let simmer until your favourite consistency
Then add the tahin, cinnamon and salt
Serve warm, I served mine with some apple and extra cinnamon
