Cinnamon Oatmeal with Banana and Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana

Preparation

  1. For creamy oats, use instant oats or coarsely chop rolled oats in a food processor.

  2. Add all ingredients to a saucepan.

  3. Bring to a simmer over low to medium heat.

  4. Stir as the mixture thickens for about 3 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and top with fruit, such as mashed or sliced banana.
