Cherry Chocolate Lava Cake

Ingredients

  • 15-20 Chilean cherries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Chopped dark chocolate
  • Additional cherries for center

Preparation

  1. Chop 15-20 Chilean cherries and set aside.

  2. In a blender, combine 1 ripe banana, 1 cup instant oats, 1 cup milk, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1.5 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Blend until smooth.

  3. Fold in the chopped cherries.

  4. Pour the batter into oven-safe molds and add chopped dark chocolate and a few more cherries in the center to create a lava pit.

  5. Microwave for 2 minutes to bake the cake.
