No-Bake Chocolate Walnut Balls

Ingredients

  • 100 grams chopped dry roasted California walnuts
  • 100 grams finely chopped dark chocolate
  • 1.5 teaspoons instant coffee, cocoa, or chocolate powder
  • 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil or butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Some crushed walnuts for sprinkling
  • Some melted dark chocolate for coating

Optional additions

  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar (optional, for added sweetness)

Preparation

  1. Add 100 grams chopped dry roasted California walnuts to a chopper or small mixer

  2. Add 100 grams finely chopped dark chocolate

  3. Add 1.5 teaspoons instant coffee, cocoa, or chocolate powder

  4. Add 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil or butter

  5. Add a pinch of salt

  6. Grind the mixture coarsely on pulse mode

  7. Transfer the mixture to a bowl

  8. Roll out small balls from the mixture

  9. Place the balls in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes

  10. Dip each ball in melted dark chocolate to coat well

  11. Place on a serving plate and top with crushed walnuts

  12. Sprinkle additional crushed walnuts on the plate

Tips

  1. If the mixture is too soft to roll, refrigerate it for 10 minutes to firm up
