Simple Classic Hummus Dip for Weekends

Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g can chickpeas (drained but keep 3 tbsps)
  • 3 tbsp aquafaba (water from chickpea can)
  • 1 small lemon, juice only
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.

  2. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of smoked paprika.

  3. Tip: Adding a cube of ice to the blender helps to make the hummus extra smooth and creamy.
