No-Bake Pecan Chocolate Bar
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 cup soft dates
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- chopped dried orange peel (optional)
- 100 grams dark chocolate
- 200 grams fresh cream
Preparation
Dry roast and coarsely chop 1/2 cup of pecans.
Blend 1 cup of soft dates into a smooth paste.
In a mixing bowl, combine the date paste with 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter.
Stir in half of the chopped pecans and add chopped dried orange peel if desired.
Mix until well combined, then transfer the mixture to a lined tin and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Melt 100 grams of dark chocolate, add 200 grams of fresh cream, and stir in the remaining chopped pecans to create a chocolate sauce.
Pour the sauce over the chilled bar and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
Slice and serve the dessert.
