Matcha Latte Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 to 1 tsp matcha
- 1 to 2 tsp sweetener of choice
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla soy milk
- 1 banana, sliced or mashed (optional)
Preparation
Combine all dry ingredients first (I find it helpful to prevent clumping of matcha by sifting it through a mesh strainer)
Add milk and sliced bananas and bring to a simmer
Stir as it cooks, allowing to thicken 3 to 5 minutes, then remove from heat
Serve with fruit of choice
