Berry Walnut Oatmeal Breakfast Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
- 1 cup (100 g) rolled oats
- 1/4 cup (25 g) sliced walnuts
- 1 cup (145 g) mixed berries: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons (14 g) honey
Preparation
Combine milk and oats in a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat
Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes until oats are soft and creamy
Stir in vanilla extract and honey to taste
Remove from heat and top with sliced walnuts, mixed berries, and banana before serving
