Berry Walnut Oatmeal Breakfast Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • 1 cup (100 g) rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) sliced walnuts
  • 1 cup (145 g) mixed berries: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons (14 g) honey

Preparation

  1. Combine milk and oats in a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes until oats are soft and creamy

  3. Stir in vanilla extract and honey to taste

  4. Remove from heat and top with sliced walnuts, mixed berries, and banana before serving
