Easy Overnight Oats for Travel Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 mashed banana

Preparation

  1. Add everything except banana to a Tupperware container. Stir to combine and place in fridge overnight.

  2. Before eating, add mashed banana, stir and add any extras you might enjoy.

Tips

  1. If you want to add nuts directly to the overnight oats to soak, add an extra 1/4 cup liquid to help the nuts/seeds soak up more liquids.

  2. Add pumpkin seeds or walnuts for extra texture.

  3. For travel, put a few servings of the dry ingredients in a baggie and portion out as needed on travels.

  4. Do not add any liquids until after passing airport security; ask for hot water at a coffee shop or Starbucks.
